Nautronix Expands in US Market

Nautronix have announced the expansion of their sales force in Houston with the appointment of Randy Monson as Sales Manager. Randy joins the company with over 32 years of business development, sales and marketing experience in the oil & gas industry. His role will focus on developing the Nautronix profile and expanding on the current success of the company’s NASNet, NASCoM and traditional acoustic systems in the Americas.

Nautronix are already carrying out work in the Gulf of Mexico, with their NASNet system providing positioning on the Cascade / Chinook field. In addition the system is currently operational Offshore Brazil for Chevron on the Frade field where it has been providing multi-user field wide positioning for the last 18 months.

With an OTC ‘Spotlight Award for New Technology’ for NASMUX, their acoustic multiplex control system for subsea BOP’s, which is currently in development with Cameron Drilling Systems in Houston, the company have been increasing their profile in the region and are aiming to build on this.

Randy joined the company on the 20th July 2009 and will be based in the company’s Houston office.
